Problem: When people get sick, there are signals. Rising temperatures, changing oxygen saturation levels, sleep-patter adaptions, and more. However, most of this data is wasted or not acted upon. What’s going on beneath our skins and how could this be used to peel back the layers of continuous health?

Solution: 60 Minutes recently reported about one version of this technology, calling it “a sensor that can tell you if you’re sick.” The subdermal implant can monitor people’s health as a tissue-like gel which is engineered to continuously test an individual’s blood. The sensor sits underneath skin and deduces what chemical reactions are happening in the body before any symptoms are actually present
Generalizing this technology could create an industry of health testing that will allow people to be more proactive about their health rather than reactive.
