Problem: This Twitter post about Air.ai blew me away when I saw it last week. According to Air.ai software engineer Michael Su, the product can call 50 prospects, talk to 8 of them, and schedule 2 meetings in under 10 minutes!
Conversational AI is finally here. Introducing Air…
Air can perform full 5-40 minute long sales & customer service calls over the phone that sound like a human. And can perform actions autonomously across 5,000 unique applications.
…Once you receive beta access, you can create your own AI and have it on live calls in a matter of minutes - kinda like setting up a Facebook ad.
his is not just some hype twitter demo. Air is currently on live calls, talking to real people every single day, profitably producing for real businesses. And it’s not limited to any one use case… you can create an AI SDR, 24/7 CS agent, Closer, Account Executive… or prompt it for your specific use case and get creative (therapy, talk to Aristotle, etc… it’s only limited by your imagination)
In it Air (a new AI company) demonstrates their ability to have call with a man who browsed the Tesla website because they were interested in a car. During the call, the AI agent asks about what car he drives now, why he looked at a Tesla, and if the customer wanted to test-drive one later that day. Then, the agent scheduled the call.
It reminded me of J.A.R.V.I.S… Not the robot in Iron Man, but a product by GRVYDEV on GitHub (architecture to the right and description below)
A toolbox for vocal computing built with Pion, whisper.cpp, and Coqui TTS. Build your own personal, self-hosted J.A.R.V.I.S powered by WebRTC
These aren’t the only people building in this space. Google recently released Soundstorm.
What does it mean when voice bots are everywhere and what business could come from this? In today’s post, we investigate.
