Problem: Many subscription services offer a “family plan.” However, if you don’t have a family or group of friends who want to split the cost of the subscription service then you have to pay the full subscription price.
Solution: Create a platform that purchases family plans and connects individuals to each other so they can be members of the same “family.” This would allow platform members to get subscriptions services at a hefty discount. For example, instead of paying $9 for an individual Netflix plan, platform members would pay $4 (44% discount) and instead of paying $60 for a T-mobile cell phone line, platform members would pay $40 (33% discount).
Monetization: Monthly membership fee to be part of the community. This fee could be low enough to pay itself off after one or two months.
